This product is of the project “Researching, designing, and manufacturing the rotary heat-recovery air heater in coal burning boilers of thermal power plants” under the Program “Research into applying and developing automotive mechanics,” coded KC03/11-15.
The air heater is a heat exchanger arranged behind the boiler to make use of valuable energy in the flue gas to heat the air for fuel combustion, which aims to raise the thermal efficiency of boilers in thermal power plants. The success of designing and manufacturing the rotary heat-recovery air heater will meet the needs of replacing the whole system of high-quality equipment for thermal power plants of large capacity to support the localization possibility, supplying equipment for the projects of repairing, replacing, and building thermal power plants.
The product structure includes 1 cold layer (48 modules); 2 modules of intermediate layer; and 2 modules of hot layer, with the following specifications: the capacity of 12-15 tons/h; the input residues temperature up to 850oC; the output residues temperature of 80oC; suitable for thermal power plants with the capacity up to 300 MW… The product has been currently applied at Hai Phong Thermal Power Plant, demonstrating the quality of the product equivalent to the G20 countries’ products.
