With the support of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology via the project "Research and improve the technology, design, and manufacture of the freeze-drying system combined with the heat pump at the capacity of 35 kg condensate water/24 hours" , scientists of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education have successfully developed the new generation freeze-drying system DS-10 with many superior features as follows:
The heat source for the drying process is provided by a heat pump, which is optimal for engery saving, reducing the cost for the drying process; the system automatically measures and controls the drying process via computer and IoT applications; it is flexible and able to be used in different modes of drying (for normal products and forzen products).
The system has the following technical parameters: Capacity of 35 kg condensate water/24 hours (approximately 50-70 kg of materials/batch, depending on the type of materials, moisture, and its specific weight); freezing temperature: from -45oC to -35oC; temperature of drying medium: from -45oC to 30oC; ice-forming temperature: from -45oC to -35oC; pressure: 0,001 to 4,58 mmHg.
Especially, the price of the system is equal to only one quarter of imported devices with the same capacity.
